All of our public art projects have been designed and developed through in-depth collaboration with local stakeholders whatever the context and wherever the project. All of the projects contain a strong narrative that link the ideas to site specific and culturally specific contexts.
in 2012 we have delivered three major commisions - firstly in Dunbar where our People's Panorama has been installed as the main glazed elevation to the new Community Centre; secondly in Airdrie where four steel and Perspex columns were installed into a new Community Health Centre and finally in Blackburn where three projects have been realisesd through our lead artist role with the Building Schools for the Future programme in the town.
We are currently developing a series of proposals for a Public Art Plan in Northfield, Aberdeen through an Artist in Residence commission.
As with our other areas of work, we always take time to consider the physical site in any given project and to take particular care when developing ideas that will have a personal and lasting cultural relationship for the resident population in any place.
